The artist Wu Yisheng was born in 1968 in Fengbin township, Hualien county. He started to work with Taiwanese jade 22 years ago and is specialized in jade sculpture. In 1992, he founded ‘Stone Art’ in Fengbin, Hualien, by the east coast of Taiwan. He was invited to take part in the Local Taiwanese Jade Sculpture Exhibition, at the Hualien International Stone Sculpture Festival. In 2008, he attended the Jade in the East Coast Exhibition at the National Taitung Living Art Center and his achievement was acknowledged. With his older brother Wu Yiching, he co-founded Stone Art and Go To Sea café and Bed & Breakfast on the pretty east coast of Taiwan. Some of his best works over the years are displayed in these places.
